Workflow

Turn PowerPoint slides into narrated video lessons

Export your course slides as a PDF and upload it. Kinoslide writes the narration from the slides, builds the visuals for each scene, and records the voiceover. You get a finished MP4 for your course.

01See it

What the finished video looks like.

Two finished lessons. Presentation keeps the slide feel with motion and narration. Dry Erase draws the same kind of material on a whiteboard as it is explained.

Presentation. Deductibles and payout caps worked through on animated slides.
Dry Erase. A finance lesson drawn in marker and set in motion as the narration explains it.

02What makes it different

Built for material that has to be explained properly.

01

No recording

You do not record a voiceover or sit in front of a camera. Kinoslide writes the script from the slide content and generates the narration.

02

The lesson is redrawn

Kinoslide builds new scenes from what your slides say. In Dry Erase, diagrams and equations are drawn as the narration reaches them. In Presentation, the content becomes animated slides.

03

One deck, one lesson

Pick the page range for one lesson. A 40-slide module can become four short videos instead of one long one.

03How it works

From the material you have to a video you can publish.

  1. 01

Export the deck as a PDF

In PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides, save or download the deck as a PDF. If the teaching lives in your speaker notes, export the notes pages so Kinoslide can read them.

  2. 02

    Upload and pick a format

Choose the slides for one lesson, the length, the language, and the format. Dry Erase draws the lesson. Presentation turns it into animated slides.

  3. 03

    Review and export

On Pro and Scale, check every scene in the storyboard and fix any line before it renders. Then export the MP4 to your course platform or LMS.

04Who it's for

Where this fits.

Course creators

Turn the slides you already teach from into video

  • Use the decks from live classes or webinars as the source
  • Split a long deck into short lessons by page range
  • Upload the MP4 to Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, or any LMS

Course providers

Give every module in a catalogue the same look and voice

  • Set the voice, format, and language once per project
  • Add style rules that every video in the course follows
  • Edit the changed scenes when a slide is updated

Instructors

Replace recorded lectures that are hard to update

  • Generate the narration instead of recording it again
  • Fix a wrong line in text and re-render
  • Make a version in another language from the same slides

05FAQ

Common questions.

Not yet. Export the deck as a PDF first. PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides can all save a deck as a PDF.

No. Kinoslide reads the content of your slides and builds new visuals for each scene. Your original slide layouts are not animated.

It reads whatever is in the PDF. If your notes hold the explanation, export the notes pages to PDF so the notes are part of the file.
